🌍🎨🗡️The aim of this playful workshop is to introduce children aged 7 to 12 to Ladislas KIJNO's socially engaged art by exploring his 'The Warrior Painter' exhibition at the GRATALOUP Museum.

Discovering Engaged Art: They will learn how art can be a powerful means of expressing ideas and advocating for important causes, drawing inspiration from Ladislas KIJNO's socially engaged work.
Engagement and Ideas: Children will grasp that commitment is not solely through physical force but also through the power of ideas. They will explore the concept of fighting for what they believe in and how art can serve as a peaceful 'weapon' to change the world.
Exploration of the World: Inspired by Ladislas KIJNO, they will explore the world around them, shedding light on issues like war, racism, injustices, while celebrating the heroes who strive for a better world.
Reflection on Values: Children will discuss the importance of values like peace, equality, justice, and giving, and how they can contribute to promoting these through their own art and actions.

🌟 My name is Ladislas Kijno. When I was a child, I loved to draw, and my father would critique my drawings. One day, he took me into the garden to draw trees, leeks, and strawberries. On that day, he told me something very important: 'Don't just draw what you see. Reality is invisible to the eyes.' I thought a lot about this and realized that reality included everything we couldn't see: the wind, the scents, the taste of rain. It also encompassed emotions like sadness, joy, or anger. So when I became a painter, I incorporated all of this into my paintings. Follow me, and I'll explain it to you.🌟
