Discovering Art and Science through Trees

The uniqueness of these playful workshops lies in their ability to narrate the life story of trees to children and highlight their similarities with the living beings we are. Set in a beautiful environment, children are immersed in a world where trees become fully-fledged living beings. The goal is to raise awareness among the younger generations about nature while awakening their scientific curiosity.

Each workshop is centered around a specific theme: biodiversity, climate change, photosynthesis, energy, and many more. However, what makes this experience truly exceptional is the use of digital tools to help children understand these complex topics. Each canvas displayed in the museum represents one of these themes and is accompanied by a recorded musical podcast. These podcasts, tailored to a child-friendly language, playfully explain the scientific concepts, piquing the interest of the young visitors

Interactions and Expression at the Museum

The workshop goes beyond a mere exhibition. It also provides a space for interactions and expression for children. During their visit, young participants are encouraged to share their life stories, experiences, and their understanding of the world. This exchange promotes a more interactive and personal approach to learning.

A Sensory Experience

At the end of the workshop, a unique sensory experience awaits the children. A sound and light projection is displayed on the vaults of the museum, which dates back to the 10th century and is a historical treasure in itself. This special projection allows children to recognize the works hung on the museum's walls while connecting them to the themes of climate change and nature preservation.

The museum's director, Milena Cheynet de Beaupré, explains: 'We want children to leave our museum not only understanding the importance of trees and nature but also having a fresh perspective on art and how it can help us preserve our planet
