Cosmic Color: "The Water of the Firmament"
The stars shimmered silently in the vast expanse of the sky. But that night, a gentle, radiant rain began to fall from the heavens. These were no ordinary raindrops—they were entire stars, fragments of light cascading down toward the sea.
Below, the sea lay still, its surface etched with bluish patterns. With each impact of the stars, its waves briefly lit up, crests glimmering before sinking back into darkness.
“Why do you come, only to disappear so quickly?” the sea murmured, unsettled by this celestial dance.
A silent echo replied: “We come to remind you of the brevity of all things. Is that not how human life flows? A bright flame, then a memory that fades.”
The sea shivered, realizing this rain of stars mirrored existence: a fleeting moment to shine, to leave a trace, before dissolving into the infinite. Yet, she found comfort in the thought that such brevity was not meaningless. Like the stars, living beings leave their mark—a sparkle in the memory of the world.
As dawn began to rise on the horizon, the sea noticed something extraordinary. She, too, had begun to sparkle. A nurturing mother, her waters glowed in quiet tribute to the billions of lives she had brought into being.
