In between the worlds
The world above: a clear space, almost empty. A half-circle edged with gold and black sets the vegetal world apart. Life is colourful, abundant, but held at a distance from the centre, this luminous space of possibilities, even before form exists.
Below, the world of matter.
On the left, a golden tree rises beneath a starry sky: the promises of life when the horizon begins to brighten.
On the right, a dark, deep and dense space, where matter resists and tightens.
At the centre, a flat black area where the gaze glides like a vision of infinity. And within this fracture, silhouettes appear. Precious, fragile, golden. They do not rise. They do not descend. They slide, they tilt, they cross. Caught in the movement of the real, they organise nothing. They resolve nothing. They pass.
To inhabit the world is not to choose one side. It is neither to rise nor to take root. It is to hold oneself in this unstable space, between light and matter, between the possible and the real.
In between the worlds.

In between the worlds
Above, you can see a clear world, almost empty, full of light. It is the world of the future, the world of what we imagine, of what might happen.
Below, there is the world of the earth. You can see a tree, golden stars, but also a dark part made of deep roots. It is the world where we live.
And between the two, look closely. Small silhouettes appear in a passage. They do not rise. They do not descend. They cross.
It is like life. We are not only in what we imagine, and not only in what is there. We are often in between. Between the future we imagine and the world we inhabit. This painting tells us something simple: living is not choosing one side. It is learning to stay in balance in between the worlds.
