Sentimental Color: "The Loves of Water and Light"

In the beginning, the sea covered the land. It reigned supreme over the planet, with only the atmosphere as its companion. The atmosphere was dense, opaque, and shrouded in darkness. But the sea didn’t truly understand darkness—for it had never known the light. Its only glow came from the fiery magma deep within its depths—a warmth it carried silently.
Then, one day, a single ray of light, bolder than the rest, pierced the atmosphere. The sky parted to let it through. For the sea, it was extraordinary. Under the light’s gaze, the sea came alive with the colors of the sun. The brighter the light shone, the more radiant the sea became, shimmering in its brilliance. It was love at first sight: the sea fell deeply, hopelessly in love with the light.
At first, the light—elusive and ever-changing—barely noticed the sea. Sometimes, it vanished, leaving the sea feeling abandoned. Yet, it always returned, captivated by the way the sea scattered its rays into shimmering rainbows. Slowly, the light, too, became enchanted. It fell in love with the sea.
One golden day, the light dove deep, reaching the sea’s hidden depths. It touched the ocean’s heart with tenderness, and the sea, overwhelmed, offered its warmth and its minerals in return. There was a spark, faint yet profound, trembling in the vastness of the ocean. And from that first kiss, all life was born.

A very, very long time ago, the sea covered the whole Earth. The sky was packed with so many thick clouds that everything was dark. But one day, a curious little beam of light slipped through the clouds. The sea noticed it right away and began to sparkle with all the colors! It felt so beautiful and fell in love with the light.
At first, the light didn’t even see the sea. It would come and go, playing with the clouds. But little by little, it noticed the sea’s rainbows dancing on the waves. The light thought they were so beautiful and fell in love with the sea too.
One day, the light dove deep into the sea. It softly lit up the ocean’s dark depths, and the sea, full of joy, gave the light all its treasures. That day, something amazing happened: the very first tiny living creature was born in the ocean.
