What first draws the eye is the blue sphere at the centre of the object. Blue like what is essential: water, our ocean planet that we call Earth. This Earth is clearly present, in rings of dense matter, in bold colours, red, green and yellow, the colours from which all forms are born.
At the centre, a golden circle, precious and sacred. And a silver woman, the material of mirrors, or perhaps of consciousness itself, which reflects.
The woman does not hold the sphere. She does not look at it. The blue globe simply seems to emerge from her body, from her womb, the place where the world is felt.
The world does exist, of course.
But what we know of it is always only a fragment. A sensation somewhere between the gaze, thought and the presence of the body.
So we believe that we inhabit the world. Yet in a certain way, it also inhabits us.
People often say that the Earth is a small blue ball lost in space. If it is blue, it is because of water. And without water, life would not exist.
Look at this object. Around it, there are circles of sand in different colours. With these colours, you could paint all the landscapes of the Earth: forests, deserts, mountains and oceans.
At the centre, there is a silver woman. Silver shines like a mirror. It reflects everything that passes in front of it. But look carefully: the woman is not holding the little blue sphere. It almost looks as if the Earth is appearing from her belly.
As if the world were not only around us… but also somewhere inside us. And as if each person might carry, in their own way, their own little blue planet.
