I painted these small canvases at the end of my life. The mountain still represents the heart of human experience, a symbol of hopes, quests, and trials. But in these paintings, the mountain is no longer the main focus. Constellations and golden galaxies unfold, drawing the vastness of the universe and the colossal scale of creation. And with these stars echo all the questions I have about the finitude of men, my own, and also that of humanity. And even though it sometimes scares me, deep inside, I have hope...
I painted these little pictures when I was older, with lots of thoughts and hopes. The most important thing is the huge sky filled with stars and golden galaxies. When we look at the stars, we feel very small in the universe. But even when we feel a little lost, they shine to tell us that there is always hope and beauty to discover.
