The suspended bird
Below is the Earth, a world of matter. Nature is radiant, vibrant with the work of humankind. The garden is geometric. Dense and highly controlled, it stands out beneath the golden sky. Within this contained energy, nature is in motion.
Above is the sky, an open space framed by four aluminium bars. In this place of non-matter, everything is possible and everything can take form.
Between the two, the bird is covered in gold. It symbolises all that the spirit holds as sacred, the hopes of becoming and the freedom to attain them. Yet it is not completely free. Suspended by threads, it advances along a fine line, stretched between sky and earth. In balance between a ground that is too controlled and a sky that is too open, the golden bird remains there, suspended without guarantee or promise, in this unstable space left to the living.

The suspended bird
Below, you see the earth. It is a very organised garden, like a park where everything is carefully drawn.
It is a solid world, one that holds.
Above is the sky. Just an empty rectangle between four metal bars. It is an open space where you can imagine many things.
Between the two, there is a golden bird. It is suspended by very fine threads. It is not completely attached, but it cannot fly freely.
When we live, we are sometimes like this bird: we dream of flying far away, but something holds us back. So we move forward, along a fragile line, searching for our balance, like on a wire.
