When we face reality, all the warning signs are flashing red. Today, a once-threatened nature has become a threatening force, and the scale of these disruptions is beyond us.
Since 2008, an average of 21.5 million people have been forcibly displaced each year due to climate-related events. But the reasons for migration are many—climatic, cultural, economic, or political.
For generations, millions have left their homes in search of a better life. With the upheavals now underway, even more will be forced to do the same.
