On September 19 and 20, 2026 , on the occasion of the European Heritage Days in Chevreuse , the GRATALOUP Museum invites you to discover Between Worlds , an exhibition where painting, photography, music and light respond to each other in the exceptional setting of the Saint-Saturnin Priory of Chevreuse.
Conceived as a truly immersive experience, the museum offers much more than a simple visit. Bilingual podcasts accessible via QR codes, a child-friendly route, videos, and a sound and light show projected under the priory's vaults accompany visitors throughout their journey.
On this occasion, the museum is offering a special rate: a single reduced rate for all visitors aged 6 and over. Admission remains free for children under 6.
An encounter between painting and photography
Presented in the chapel of the Saint-Saturnin Priory, Entre les Mondes brings together the paintings of GRATALOUP and the photographs of Antoine POUPEL , a photographer notably known for his work with the Zingaro equestrian theatre and the Crazy Horse.
Their worlds converge around a common thread: passage, appearance, and metamorphosis. The works engage in a dialogue with one another, inviting the visitor to take a fresh look at light, movement, and life.
A visit designed as an immersive experience
At the GRATALOUP Museum , the scenography is an integral part of the discovery of the works.
Throughout the tour, immersive podcasts in French and English, accessible via QR codes, accompany visitors. Children also have a specially designed tour. The visit concludes with a sound and light show projected under the chapel's vaulted ceilings, offering a unique way to discover the world of GRATALOUP .
More than just an exhibition, the museum offers a true sensory experience where heritage and contemporary creation interact in a place steeped in history.
This edition of the European Heritage Days will be the last organized at the GRATALOUP Museum before its closure to the public at the end of the year. A special opportunity to discover or rediscover this unique place.
